Lake Ridge Man Charged With Burglary of Dale City Home

Police say they saw him leaving the home with a hammer.

A Lake Ridge man was arrested Tuesday after police responding to a Dale City burglary said they saw him leaving the home with a hammer. The incident came two days after another man was arrested when police said a homeowner held him down in an attempted burglary.

Police responded to an alarm in the 5500 block of Saint Charles Drive just before noon on Tuesday. As they checked the outside of the home, police saw a man leaving, holding a hammer.

Police arrested Keith Bradford Jordan, 32, of 12104 Stallion Ct. in Lake Ridge. Police said Jordan had broken a rear sliding glass door to get into the house. Jordan was carrying a handgun that was taken from the home, police said.
