Lorton Woman Charged With Malicious Wounding in Lake Ridge

Police arrested Amber Todd on March 10.

Police charged a Lorton woman with malicious wounding in Lake Ridge after an Ashburn woman reported that she was injured following an altercation with the accused, according to police spokesperson Jonathan Perok.

The 21-year-old victim told police that she was at a house near Luca Station Way in Lake Ridge when she and the accused "became involved in a verbal altercation which escalated physically," according to the police report. The accused then left the house to drive away, the police report stated.

The victim then reportedly tried to stop the accused from driving away by jumping on top of the vehicle's hood, but the accused kept driving and then slammed on her brakes, throwing the victim to the ground, the report said.
