Moving Vehicle Shot With BB Gun in Lake Ridge

The pellet left a small hole in a cracked window.

On May 18, a 66-year-old man was driving along Oakwood Drive when he heard a popping noise, and noticed that one of the vehicle's windows now had a small hole in it, police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

Police reponded at 11:15 p.m. to the man's report of a shooting into an occupied vehicle.

"Officers were able to locate a juvenile suspect, a 12-year-old boy of Woodbridge, who was determined to have shot a BB rifle at the moving vehicle," Perok said. "Charges are pending. Investigation continues."
