Prince William County Police arrested a Bolton, North Carolina man on March 21 and charged him with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer, according to police spokesperson Jonathan Perok.
A caller from the 12600 block of Monarch Drive in Lake Ridge reported to police that the accused would not leave her property. Police responded, but the accused was gone by the time they arrived. This happened twice more until police found the accused.
When police tried to arrest the accused, he reportedly spit at the officer and then began to struggle against the arrest.
"The accused kicked a police cruiser several times after being placed in the rear seat," the police report read.
Nothing was damaged. The accused was charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer, trespassing, and resisting arrest.
His court date is unavailable. He is being held without bond.
