OWL VFD Responds to Lake Ridge Townhouse Fire

The fire was under control within a few minutes of units arriving on the scene.

At about 2:27 a.m. on Feb. 19, Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Firefighters responded to the report of a town house fire at 11614 Nellings Place.  

Initial units arrived on scene within minutes and reported smoke coming from the front of the house. The fire was quickly located on the first floor and was under control within 5 minutes.

The rapid attack and confinement of the fire held the majority of the damage to the first floor. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Prince William County Fire Marshal’s office. Fire and Rescue units from OWL VFD, Dale City VFD, Coles VFD, PWC Department of Fire and Rescue and PWC Police responded to the incident.
