Police Investigate Mob Assault at Mall

A 17-year-old told police he was attacked and stabbed March 25 in the parking lot of the Potomac Mills Mall.

Police responded to the mall at 9:06 p.m. for a report of a fight. The victim said he was walking when he was attacked by several people and eventually stabbed in the abdomen.

By the time police arrived everyone had fled the scene on foot. The victim was treated at a local hospital and released. Police are investigating the complaint.
