Police: Lake Ridge Man Assaulted in His Own Home on Harbor Drive

The victim and the accused were reportedly in a verbal fight which escalated, Prince William County Police said.

Police have charged a suspect in the assault of a Lake Ridge man in his own home on March 17, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

Ahmad Riaz Noory, 19, of Lake Ridge, is charged with burglary with intent to commit assault and assault and battery.

Police initially responded on at 3:18 p.m. Sunday to a residence on Harbor Drive for the report of an assault.

"The victim, a 24-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation in front of his residence," Perok said. "Following the encounter, the victim walked back into his house, at which point, the accused followed and entered without permission. Once inside, the altercation continued and the accused assaulted the victim."

The victim reported minor injuries. Noory was arrested without incident. His court date is unavailable, and he is being held without bond.

I'm sure there is MUCH MORE to THIS story! "Entered without permission" is probably not what happened until the victim was getting his butt kicked.
