Police Looking For Man Who Allegedly Brandished a Firearm Near Route 1

No one was injured in the brandishing case, police said.

Police are looking for a man who reportedly brandished a firearm in the area of Jefferson Davis Highway and Dale Boulevard on Sunday evening, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

Police arrived at the area on Aug. 26 at 7:15 p.m. A 21-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man, both from Woodbridge, told police they were driving along Dale Boulevard towards Jefferson Davis Highway, when another vehicle cut them off and then braked. 

"At a traffic light, the victims pulled their vehicle alongside the suspect vehicle," Perok said. "At this point, a front seat passenger displayed a firearm and began waving it around. No shots were fired and no injuries were reported."

After this, the suspect vehicle reportedly continued south on Jefferson Davis Highway. 

Police are looking for a white male between 20 and 22 years old who was reportedly driving the car. He was last seen wearing a black hat and a black and white shirt. Police are also looking for a black male between 20 and 22 years old who was a passenger in this vehicle. He had a short, black afro-style haircut and was last seen wearing a black shirt.

Police are also looking for a Chrysler Sebring convertible with temporary tags. It was described as red and an early 2000s model.
