Police: Man Charged With Reckless Driving in Crash That Killed Pedestrian

Woodbridge resident Zenaida Jimenez was killed in a single vehicle collision on Oct. 12.

Police have charged Woodbridge resident Mohamed-Kareem Mohamed with reckless driving and insufficient tire tread depth after the Oct. 12 single vehicle crash that killed Woodbridge pedestrian Zenaida Jimenez, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

Crash Investigators arrested Mohamed on Oct. 16.

"The investigation revealed that the driver was operating his vehicle with insufficient tire tread which caused the vehicle to lose control on wet pavement leading to the crash," Perok said.

Mohamed's court date is Dec. 10. Police provided no arrest photo.
