Police on the Lookout for Armed Robber

A 20-year-old Woodbridge man told police he had been assaulted and robbed at gunpoint near Old Bridge Road.

Police are looking for the man responsible for a reported armed robbery on March 1 at about 1 a.m. 

A 20-year-old Woodbridge man told police he had been assaulted and robbed at gunpoint near the 1500 block of Old Bridge Road. He was reportedly walking to his car in a parking lot when an unknown man approached him, assaulted him, and demanded money while displaying a handgun in a threatening manner. 

The man then allegedly took money from the victim and left the area.

No one was injured.  

Police are on the lookout for a black male of an unknown age, 5'9", 185 lbs, medium build, with brown eyes. The victim described him as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and a mask, according to the police report.
