Police: Teen Dosed With Non-Prescribed Meds

After teen falls at school, female family member charged with child abuse.

A Dale City woman has been arrested after a teen stumbled and fell at school while under the influence of non-prescribed medication, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

Samantha Dee Walsh, 33, was charged with two counts of child abuse and neglect, and two counts of distributing a schedule III or IV narcotic to a minor. She is being held without bond.

Detectives from the Special Victims Bureau and Child Protective Services investigated a report of child abuse and neglect Jan. 28 on Ferndale Road.

"Detectives learned that the victim, a 15-year-old male of Woodbridge, was having trouble walking and fell while in school," Perok said. "The investigation revealed that the accused, a family member, gave the victim non-prescribed medication over the course of two days prior to the incident."

Police executed a search warrant at the house and reportedly found evidence. After the investigation, the accused was arrested, and the victim and two other children were put in foster care.

Samantha Walsh's court date is unavailable.

She needs to find a liberal lawyer to plead her case and have her released to strike again. Ultra liberals are the enemy of the state because they refuse to draw any lines and always want to release scum back into our communities. Thugs, pimps, pedophiles, gangsters and all the scum of society need to thank the bible thumpers of the world because they work hard to keep you free.

who are you talking about Rick Young...this person is FAR from "the scum of the Earth"...maybe not a smart choice, but no where near the type of criminal we need to be concerned with.
