Power Lines Still Down at Old Bridge Road and Clipper Drive

After the afternoon accident involving a Pepsi truck on May 30, westbound drivers on Old Bridge Road have to detour.

UPDATE: As the Pepsi truck was pulling out of the Coastal gas station at the corner of Clipper Drive and Old Bridge Road between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on May 30, the truck hit some wires, pulling them down. No other vehicles were involved and the truck driver was not intoxicated.

"He just hit some wires," officer Jonathan Perok said.

After the afternoon accident on May 30 involving a Pepsi truck near the intersection of Clipper Drive and Old Bridge Road, power lines are still down and all westbound lanes of Old Bridge are closed between Clipper Drive and Harbor Drive.

Westbound drivers on Old Bridge will have to detour when they reach the intersection of Clipper Drive and Old Bridge.
