On July 29 and 30, three Dale City men were arrested for armed robbery against and abduction of a Woodbridge teen, according to police spokesperson Jonathan Perok.
The victim, a 17-year-old male, told police that he went to the 12400 block of Hedges Run Drive just after 5:30 p.m. on July 29 in response to an online sneaker ad. When he arrived, he met an unknown man and then got into a vehicle with three unknown men.
One of the men then reportedly pulled out a gun and robbed the teen of his money and cell phone.
After investigation, police arrested Reco Mullins, 18, Devante Lumbra-Dixon, 19, and Michael Hughes, 24.
"Mullins and Lumbra-Dixon were arrested on July 29 near the Cloverdale 7-11, while Hughes was taken into custody on July 30 at his residence," the police report read.
After a search of Hughes' home, police found the handgun used in the robbery. Police also seized a computer found at Mullins' home.
"All were charged with robbery, abduction, and the use of a firearm in commission of a felony," the report read.
The court date is Sept. 14. Mullins and Hughes were held with a $5000 secured bond, and Lumbra-Dixon was held without bond.
