Two Attempted Burglaries in Lake Ridge

Neither house was broken into and no items were reported missing.

On June 10, a homeowner in the 1800 block of Sugar Hill Drive reported that an unknown person had tried to break into the house between 7:30 p.m. on June 9 and 7:50 a.m. on June 10. Though no one had entered the home and no items were missing, the homeowner said that "paint was scraped from the trim near the door knob," according to the police report.

On June 11, a homeowner in the 12700 block of Inverness Way reported that an unknown person had tried to enter the house between June 10 at 11 p.m. and June 11  at 7 a.m. The homeowner reported that the screen on the window had been pushed up and the rear gate had been opened. No one got into the house and no items were missing. This comes only a few days after the .
