Two Bank of America Customers Robbed at Gunpoint This Month

It is not known whether the two armed robberies are connected.

Two Bank of America customers have been robbed at gunpoint at the bank location at 1708 Financial Loop in Lake Ridge in the past two weeks. No suspects have been identified and it is not certain whether the robberies are connected.

On Aug. 22 at 5 a.m., a 37-year-old Woodstock resident was at the ATM withdrawing money when three men pulled up in a vehicle. One man reportedly brandished a handgun and took an undisclosed amount of the withdrawn money. No one was injured. The victim described two of the three men as being black males, between 20 and 30 years old, and of a thin build. The victim could not describe the third man.

A little more than a week earlier, on Aug. 13 at about 6 a.m., a 40-year-old Woodbridge man was trying to deposit money at the same ATM when a man reportedly approached his car, threatened him with a handgun, and demanded money. The victim gave him money and quickly drove away. No one was injured. The victim described the robber as a black male between 20 and 30 years of age, 5'8" and 150 lbs, of medium build, with black braided hair, blue eyes and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
