Two Burglaries Reported in Lake Ridge

Police responded on June 6 and June 7 to the 12300 block of Pond Run Drive and the 12700 block of Inverness Way, respectively.

On June 6 at about 9 a.m., a homeowner in the 12300 block of Pond Run reported a burglary that occurred in the early hours of June 5, according to police spokesperson Jonathan Perok. The homeowner reported an undisclosed amount of money missing. When police arrived, they determined that the burglar had probably gotten in through an unlocked window.

On June 7, shortly after 8:30 p.m., a homeowner in the 12700 block of Inverness Way reported a burglary that occured between 4 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The homeowner reported an XBOX and an undisclosed amount of money missing. When police arrived, they determined that the burglar had probably entered the home through a balcony door that had been forced open.
