Just days before President Obama's campaign kick-off in Richmond on Saturday, Mitt Romney is scheduled to bring his on Wednesday, given that Virginia will be a swing-state in this year's election.
Although Gov. Robert F. McDonnell is planning to campaign alongside Romney this week in Virginia, he will not be attending the event on Wednesday morning due to budget meetings in Richmond, according to Yahoo News.
Republican Newt Gingrich is also expected to be in Northern Virginia on Wednesday to officially announce his departure from the presidential race, according to CBS News.
Romney's last-standing rival, Rep. Ron Paul of Texas, is not quite ready to drop out, and CBS News reported that he has not decided if he'll support Romney as a presidential nominee.
