Romney to Campaign in Chantilly Wednesday

Romney is scheduled to visit Exhibit Edge in Chantilly Wednesday morning.

Just days before President Obama's campaign kick-off in Richmond on Saturday, Mitt Romney is scheduled to bring his on Wednesday, given that Virginia will be a swing-state in this year's election

Although Gov. Robert F. McDonnell is planning to campaign alongside Romney this week in Virginia, he will not be attending the event on Wednesday morning due to budget meetings in Richmond, according to Yahoo News.

Republican Newt Gingrich is also expected to be in Northern Virginia on Wednesday to officially announce his departure from the presidential race, according to CBS News.

Romney's last-standing rival, Rep. Ron Paul of Texas, is not quite ready to drop out, and CBS News reported that he has not decided if he'll support Romney as a presidential nominee. 

Romney, the likely Republican presidential nominee, will visit Exhibit Edge on Walney Road at 10 a.m. To attend, please register for the event at mittromney.com.

I so appreciate Rich Anderson's presence on this committee. My biggest question is why didn't anyoneRead More have a plan for jobs to take effect if these cuts happened. Did anyone calculate the expense to the economy that would occur from Sequestration or plan to offset that expense?

Stopped by for lunch yesterday and had the turkey-avocado BLT with sweet tea and fries -- delicious.Read More Dave and Eric, the new managers, are good, hardworking guys who I wish all the best in their new venture. As Earnie said, Dave and Sarah have developed a diverse and interesting menu, with some pleasant surprise offerings, the prices are reasonable and they're going to be open seven days a week for breakfast to dinner, something many other Occoquan restaurants don't do. Give them a try, and tell them Chuck the Foodie sent you.
