Fairfax Area Disability Services Board Meeting

The Fairfax Area Disability Services Board invites all residents, and especially those living in Springfield and surrounding areas, to attend its next meeting at the West Springfield Government Center and share their ideas on making the area more accessible for people with disabilities.

The meeting will be held in the community room of the center on September 10, from 7:30-9:30 p.m.  The center is located at 6140 Rolling Road, Springfield, Va.

The board represents residents with disabilities in Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church. It also works with local governments to ensure that all programs are accessible for people with disabilities.

The board’s regularly-scheduled meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at the Fairfax County Government Center.  In recognition of transportation difficulties people with disabilities often encounter, the board meets at least one time a year at another county location.
