Moms Talk: Bullying

Members of the Moms Council offer their advice and opinions on the topic of bullying.

Bullying is a problem in every school system and administrators work hard to combat it every day.

Prince William County Schools have a public service announcement about bullying that can be viewed hereStudent Services also can help students who are victim of bullies.

Concerned residents even created a website that lets students record incidents of bullying, share success stories and connect with others who can help.  The site is full of advice, tips and public service announcements.

also can be of a resource on the topic.  All three members have young children. Council member Keri Goodfriend has experience in conflict resolution with a degree in counseling psychology. Kati Karamanis is a nurse and president of the Lake Ridge Moms Club, who has tackled this topic in the past. Stacey Almond is a business owner and stay-at-home mom whose children inspire her daily.
