Capital Defense Instruction, LLC is teaching a multi-state concealed carry firearms permit course that meets the training requirements for application for a VA CHP and Utah CFP (non-resident permit).  With both concealed carry permits you can legally carry a firearm in 35 states.

Course instruction includes the following topics:  handgun safety rules, handgun parts and operation, ammunition, fundamentals of shooting, safe firearms handling, UT criminal & traffic code,  U.S. federal firearms regulations, BCI administration policy, practical and legal considerations, and more.  Although this is NOT a live fire course and range time is not required, we encourage you to cultivate your marksmanship skills by scheduling one-on-one firearms training at the range with one of our instructors.

Sorry, no walk-in registrations allowed.  Online preregistration and prepayment is required for everyone attending this course.  This allows us to make that sure we have enough course participant packets for each person taking the class.  Secure credit/debit card and PayPal account payments accepted.  Refunds are given only if course is cancelled by Capital Defense Instruction, LLC.  Failure to attend scheduled training will result in forfeiture of your paid tuition.

Or if you are a former military member with a clean record, all you have to do is file for a permit.

Mr. George, you are partially correct. Military can file for a VA Concealed Handgun Permit with a DD214, However to obtain the highly coveted gold standard Utah Concealed Firearm Permit you have to take the course. Utah Bureau of Cranial Identification DOES NOT allow any exception to taking the course for military, law-enforcement or civilians because they want everyone to have uniformed training.
