USA Swimming Members to Swim in Woodbridge to Fight Breast Cancer

They'll swim 5,000 meters on March 4 to raise money for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.

On March 4, 37 Shark Tank Racing Squad swimmers, along with other swimmers from local swim teams, will swim 5,000 meters to raise money and awareness for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.

The swim will take place at from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.

"The swimmers range in age from 8 to 22 and most live in the greater Fairfax area," coach Patty Friedman said. "The children have learned facts about Breast Cancer and are spreading the word, taking general donations and pledges per lap. At the present time, their goal is to raise $7000. Team Shark Tank has their own fundraising page for online donations and information."
