Vote for the Best Cupcake Bakery in Prince William County

Let us know the best cupcake bakeries in Woodbridge, Lake Ridge, Occoquan, Dale City, Manassas, and Manassas Park.

Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows about the area to participate.

Nominations were accepted on Patch through July 9 and include:

Cupcake Heaven

Winners in all Readers' Choice categories will be announced on Aug. 24.

The poll will open to accept votes from registered Patch users starting on July 23 and close at 11:59 p.m. on Aug. 17.

Click on the relevant link to sign up for your local newsletter so you know when the voting starts for Readers' Choice: Manassas Park, Woodbridge Patch, Manassas Patch, Dale City Patch, and Lake Ridge-Occoquan.

@Erin many will say salted caramel pretzel but oreo is my favorite and they open tomorrow at 11am.

I've never had Happy Eatery's cupcakes, but they sell their petit fours for $2 a piece. Selling an half-inch block of sugar for $2 sorta discouraged me from trying anything else.

Confections by far the best cupcakery!!! If you thought Georgetown Cupcake was good (which I don't), you will definitely love Confections. Not a single cupcake is bad... the frosting is never to heavy and just compliments each cupcake flavor... it never over powers the cake itself. Their Red Velvet with butter cream is one of my favorites. They sell it with cream cheese frosting too.

Blueberry is awesome. And carrot cake. And peanut butter. Unfortunately, I haven't met a cupcake at Confections that isn't great!

I agree with you Jamie. I was in a bind last December and went there to buy cupcakes for my husbands birthday. Had to take out a loan for the 6 cupcakes and my husbands response were that I could have made them better from a Betty Crocker box.

No! When Sugar Buzz first opened in Occoquan, I bought $8 worth of items and they charged my credit card twice. They would not return my calls on it so my bank insisted on canceling the card. What a pain over $8 worth of cupcakes. Not a fan on Sugar Buzz!

Sugar Buzz!! Lighter in texture and larger in size than most cupcakes in the county. Each week new flavor and baked fresh nightly!

My favorites are the wedding cake and pink champagne, but you have to catch them on days when those are the specials. For the regular, everyday flavors, I love the peanut butter, oreo and red velvet!

Confections, hands down. Laura and her staff are so friendly and accommodating, and the customer service is wonderful. I had a craving for a cupcake that they were out of temporarily (the peanut butter and jelly), and Laura quickly whipped up some peanut butter buttercream and made me a PB&J cupcake on the spot. All of the flavors are so good, too...it seems like a lot of effort is put into perfecting the recipes for all of the cupcakes.

Best cupcakes are at Confections in Woodbridge. The salted caramel is addictive, of 6 flavors I have tried they are all so good. Never dried out cake, the perfect amount of frosting. The staff is cordial, Laura the owner is friendly, fun and gives back to local charities. I know she has helped the boy scouts this year with donations of gift certificates or cupcakes for events. Great business, great products, and even the facebook page is fun to look at.

Stopped by for lunch yesterday and had the turkey-avocado BLT with sweet tea and fries -- delicious.…Read More Dave and Eric, the new managers, are good, hardworking guys who I wish all the best in their new venture. As Earnie said, Dave and Sarah have developed a diverse and interesting menu, with some pleasant surprise offerings, the prices are reasonable and they're going to be open seven days a week for breakfast to dinner, something many other Occoquan restaurants don't do. Give them a try, and tell them Chuck the Foodie sent you.
