Holiday Blood Drive, Free Carriage Ride, Ice Skating, and More Events this Weekend

The December solstice, the longest night in the Northern Hemisphere, is this Saturday.

The Manassas Park Fire & Rescue Department is hosting their Holiday Blood Drive from 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the fire station at 9080 Manassas Drive on Friday. 

Hop on a free carriage ride at from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday on 9431 W. St. at the Old Town Manassas Train Station.

If you haven’t been ice skating this season, the Prince William Ice Center has a two-hour open skate every day. Times vary. The ice center is at 5180 Dale Blvd. in Woodbridge. Admission is $7, $3 skate rental. More info.

Get your photo taken with Santa and give him your wish list at the Potomac Mills Mall every day through Dec. 24, during regular mall hours. The mall is at 2700 Potomac Mills Circle in Woodbridge. Photo package pricing varies. More info.
