We used Bolton Auctioneers (Frank Bolton & Donna Bolton) for an estate auction of the contents of our family home. Due to a number of reasons - the auctioneer being totally unprofessional, poor advertising, and unethical practices, I would never use them again or or ever recommend them. I would encourage you to avoid without looking back.

In sum:
- the main auctioneer, Frank Bolton, poked me on the butt - this is a form of sexual assault and quite clearly incredibly unprofessional
- they did not truthfully perform advertising that they said they would - and none that would have drawn a crowd beyond their personal friends (as Frank himself said, "my people")
- as a result of the above, we did not get even CLOSE to the value of our belongings.
- Frank and Donna's pals however, got our family possessions for dirt cheap. This seems to be their business model
- Frank Bolton regularly used copious amounts of profanity during auction set-up and during auction itself
- Frank Bolton left many drunken and profanity filled voicemails for my brother
- repeatedly raised his voice at me in our family's home
- It has come to our attention that Frank (via his wife Donna) is an alcoholic. He should seek help immediately. This is not an excuse for unethical and unprofessional behavior.
