My trailer brakes had locked up, leaving me stranded on the side of the interstate, so I had my boat and trailer towed to Holly Acres. When I picked my trailer up, 2 weeks and $1200 later, I expected it to be repaired. I made it 2 miles down the road, and the brakes locked up again. They sent a technician to take a look, who released the brakes and took it back to the Marina. After a couple hours, I was told they just needed to adjust them, which hadn't been done right the first time, so I went to pick the boat up for a second time. Several hours later, I took the boat out for a while and, when I backed my trailer up to the ramp, the brakes locked up again! An hour later, they sent the service manager to pick it up. However, he didn't bring the ball mount for his hitch, so he had to borrow mine to tow the boat to his shop. They told me that once my boat was repaired, they would deliver it to my home, which they never did. 11 days later, I went back to the shop and picked it up myself. Less than 30 miles later, on our way to the lake, the brakes on the trailer locked up AGAIN!!! They did offer to come and pick it up, but we had already paid to rent a house at the lake for the weekend, and I was able to essentially disconnect the brakes from the trailer myself. On our way home that weekend, we dropped the boat off at Holly Acres. This time, they have had my boat and trailer for almost 2 weeks, and I can't even get them to return my phone calls!
