Although Melisa Dent makes many pieces of jewelry with no stones, working with stones is her favorite part of being a jeweler. Most of the stones she sets are faceted and held in a pendent or ring with prongs that are cut at an angle based on the dimensions of the stone.
Each piece of jewelry made by Melisa is unique. Not only is each piece different, but the process through which the piece is made is unique to that particular piece of jewelry.
