Officer reported hearing the woman screaming for help when they arrived at the house, according to Prince William County Police.
Police have charged a man of no fixed address with abduction and assault and battery after a woman was reportedly assaulted and forced into a back bedroom in a Woodbridge house, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. Marcus Aaron Johnson, 35, was arrested March 27. Police initially responded to the 1200 block of Bayside Avenue at 2:23 p.m. that same day for the report of an assault. Police have charged a Woodbridge man with abduction, assault and battery, and possession of marijuana after an incident in which a Triangle woman was reportedly abducted and assaulted, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. A Newport News man is wanted by police after a Woodbridge woman was reportedly locked in her hotel room in an attempted abduction, Prince William County police spokesperson Ericca Figueroa said. Police initially responded to the report of a robbery at the Super 8 Motel at 17400 Jefferson Davis Highway in Dumfries just before midnight Jan. 29. Prince William County Police have charged a local man in relation to a recent assault on a cleaning woman at a Woodbridge Econo Lodge. Clarence Olutayo Olowu, 28, of Center Lane in Occoquan, was arrested on Nov. 20 and charged with abduction and assault and battery. The 39-year-old woman reported that she was cleaning a room at the motel on Nov. 18, when a strange man walked inside the room and closed the door. The man grabbed the victim, but she defended herself and he fled. Police released images from the surveillance video, which the man involved. Olowu's court date is set for Jan. 25. The owner of a licensed home day care in Woodbridge has been charged with abduction, child abuse and neglect after a 4-year-old girl was reportedly left in a utility closet with her hands tied behind her back, Prince William County police said in a release. On Oct. 19, police arrested John Liveris, 33, and charged him with abduction and domestic assault and battery after a 23-year-old Woodbridge woman told police that he had allegedly struck her and shut her in a basement room to keep her from calling police. Police responded at 6:50 a.m. on Oct. 19 to Liveris' house in the 2000 block of Pilgrim Drive in Lake Ridge. The victim told police that she and the accused, an acquaintance of hers, were in a verbal argument. During the argument, the victim said Liveris knocked her to the ground and then shut her in a basement room, allowing her to leave a short time later. On Aug. 13, police arrested and charged Lake Ridge resident Miguel Hernandez, 45, with sexual battery and abduction after Hernandez was accused of grabbing a Manassas woman at a Woodbridge pool near Lake Ridge, according to police spokesperson Jonathan Perok. The 19-year-old victim told police that the accused assaulted her at a pool by grabbing her and pulling her closer to his body. She managed to escape and call police. Three Dale City men were arrested over the weekend for armed robbery and abduction of a Woodbridge teen in Lake Ridge after the teen responded to an online sneaker ad.
On July 29 and 30, three Dale City men were arrested for armed robbery against and abduction of a Woodbridge teen, according to police spokesperson Jonathan Perok. The victim, a 17-year-old male, told police that he went to the 12400 block of Hedges Run Drive just after 5:30 p.m. on July 29 in response to an online sneaker ad. When he arrived, he met an unknown man and then got into a vehicle with three unknown men. One of the men then reportedly pulled out a gun and robbed the teen of his money and cell phone.
