The homeowner reported that the burglary occurred Aug. 17.
On Aug. 18, a homeowner in the 12600 block of Dulcinea Place in Lake Ridge reported the theft of $1000 of electronics and other items. The homeowner told police that the burglar entered the home between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Aug. 17. When police responded at 1:20 a.m. on Aug. 18, they found that the burglar had probably entered through a rear patio door which had been forced open.
A homeowner in the 12700 block of Harborview Court near VA-123 reported a burglary on June 16.
On June 16, about $5000 worth of electronics were reportedly stolen from a home in the 12700 block of Harborview Court off VA-123, near Occoquan, according to police spokesperson Jonathan Perok. The homeowner told police that she had heard a "loud bang" in the basement of her house. When she looked out the window, she saw three uknown men running away. The homeowner could not describe the men in more specific terms. When police inspected, they determined that the men had probably broken in by forcing open a basement door.
Noble Drew Ali has been charged with assaulting a Dumfries man by punching him in the face.
Noble Drew Ali, 26, of Woodbridge, has been arrested and charged with breaking and entering and assault and battery after a violent incident in the early morning hours of June 11, according to police spokesperson Jonathan Perok. Ali allegedly came to the front yard of a residence in the 12800 block of Hunterbrook Drive in Lake Ridge. When he was told to leave, he reportedly punched a 25-year-old Dumfries male acquaintance in the face. The victim tried to escape by going inside and locking the door. Ali reportedly then kicked in the door and continued to attack the Dumfries man.
