Crime Blotter: Woodbridge-Area Burglaries

A list of burglaries between Nov. 30 and Dec. 4.

Woodbridge-area residents reported the following apparently unrelated burglaries to Prince William County Police over the past week. Nov. 30: At 2:08 p.m., a homeowner on the 14700 block of Birchdale Avenue reported to police a burglary occurred a short time earlier in the day, between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. The burglar likely entered through the front door, which was forced open. However, the resident did not report any property missing. Dec. 3: At 2:59 p.m., a homeowner on the 14800 block of Empire Street reported a burglary occurred between 8:30 a.m. and 2:50 p.m. The burglar appeared to have entered through a rear dog door, which was previously boarded up. Police believe the burglar removed the boards and then stole a laptop, gaming console…
