Reckless driving charge after victim dies from head injuries, according to Prince William County Police.

A woman was arrested after another Woodbridge woman died due to a head injury sustained in a car crash, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  Ruth Del Carmen Zelaya Campos, 38, was charged with reckless driving. Her court date is unavailable, and she was released on summons. A 2012 Toyota Tacoma reportedly crashed into a 2007 Toyota Scion on Feb. 4 at about 2 p.m.  Earnestine R. Pedestrian Killed in Vehicle Collision on Old Bridge Road

Police say speed and alcohol were not factors in this crash.

Woodbridge resident Anthony Hood was killed in a crash involving a vehicle last night on Old Bridge Road, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  Hood was reportedly crossing Old Bridge Road near Troupe Street when he stepped in front of the driver of a 1999 Mercury Sable Wagon going east.  "The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital where he died," Perok said. "The driver of the Mercury remained at the scene. Speed and alcohol are not factors in this collision. The pedestrian was crossing the roadway outside of a designated crosswalk."  Police responded to the scene at 11:10 p.m. on Tuesday.  No one else was injured.
