Police: Vehicle Rammed Repeatedly on I-95, Then Spray-Painted in Dale City

A Stafford woman has been charged with attempted malicious wounding and destruction of property, Prince William County Police said.

Police have charged a Stafford woman with two counts of attempted malicious wounding and destruction of property after a vehicle was reportedly rammed repeatedly on I-95 and then spray-painted in Dale City, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  Allysha Edwards, 21, was arrested April 9. Police initially responded to the 2900 block of Dale Boulevard on April 9 at 12:29 a.m. for the report of a hit and run. "The victim, a 22-year-old man of Dumfries, reported to police that while visiting a family member on Woodmark Drive, he and the accused, a known acquaintance, got into a verbal altercation which escalated physically," Perok said. Police: DUI Suspect Steals, Wrecks Pizza Delivery Car

A Woodbridge man was charged with grand larceny, assault and battery and destruction of property, Prince William County Police said.

A Woodbridge man was arrested after a vehicle was reportedly stolen and wrecked on March 6, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  James Alexander Cetto, 21, was charged with hit and run, grand larceny of a vehicle, domestic assault and battery, destruction of property, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a suspended license, and unreasonable refusal of a breath test. Police initially responded to Ladue Court in Woodbridge for a domestic fight, Perok said. Lake Ridge Hit and Run Leaves Woman Injured

Erick Martin Portillo was arrested Saturday and charged with attempted malicious wounding.

Police have charged Woodbridge resident Erick Martin Portillo, 20, with attempted malicious wounding and hit and run after a 20-year-old Woodbridge woman was struck by a car Friday, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  The victim told police that she was in a vehicle with the accused near Springwoods Drive and Glenridge Drive in Lake Ridge on Friday night. The accused was driving the vehicle. "The victim reported that the accused began to act erratic," Perok said. The victim attempted to get out of the vehicle. Police Working to Identify Hit-and-Run Driver

The driver hit a skateboarder who crossed in the path of the car on Jefferson Davis Highway.

Prince William County Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge earlier this week.  A police investigation showed that the driver of a 1997 Honda Accord was traveling southbound on the highway, near East Longview Drive, when an 18-year-old male skateboarder crossed in its path. The driver fled the scene after the collision, police said. The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  Police searched the area for the car, and eventually found it unoccupied at Prince William Plaza. The car was not stolen. Police are working to find out who the driver was.

Driver Ditches Car After Police Pursuit

Prince William Police unable to locate driver, who fled after officers pulled his or her vehicle over.

A driver fled Saturday after being pulled over for a suspected DUI near the Prince William County Parkway, leading to a police chase, Prince William County Police said.  As the officer was walking to the vehicle at 11:22 p.m. Nov. 17 near Telegraph Road, the driver sped off. Officers pursued the vehicle onto Hillendale Drive, then onto Dale Boulevard, where they lost sight of the car. Officers checked area streets, then found the car on the 13900 block of Gum Lane.  Police said the car had apparently struck another parked vehicle on Hillendale Drive while the driver was fleeing.  Police said they do not believe the car was stolen. However, they were unable to locate the driver.

Police: Reward Offered For Help in Fatal Hit and Run Investigation

The Prince William County Police Department needs help in finding the vehicle reportedly involved in a fatal hit and run on Oct. 23, police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  The hit and run reportedly happened on Bayside Avenue in Woodbridge. The victim of an Oct. 23 shooting at Marumsco Plaza ran across Bayside Avenue and was struck by an unknown vehicle, Perok reported.   "The driver of the striking vehicle left the scene prior to police arrival," Perok said. "The driver of the vehicle in the hit and run was not involved in the shooting. The victim was flown to an area hospital with life threatening injuries sustained after being hit by the vehicle. On Monday, Nov. 5, the victim died from injuries sustained during the hit and run." …

Man Charged With Shooting; Police Search for Hit-and-Run Driver

Frederick Santiago, 23, of Fireside Court in Woodbridge, was charged with aggravated malicious wounding and the use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Prince William County police have arrested a Woodbridge man in connection with the Tuesday night shooting at Marumsco Plaza in Woodbridge.  Frederick Santiago, 23, of Fireside Court in Woodbridge, was charged with aggravated malicious wounding and the use of a firearm in commission of a felony. Police said that Santiago shot at an acquaintance because the two were having a fight over a "previous incident," according to a news release.   Prince William County Police responded to the incident at 6:56 p.m., when a 22-year-old victim from Woodbridge was shot at in the parking lot. Fugitive Charged With Attempted Abduction, Hit-and-Run

Brandon William Skinner, 28, of Dale City, was charged in relation to a September hit-and-run.

The U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested a Dale City man in relation to an attempted abduction and hit-and-run in Woodbridge in September.  Brandon William Skinner of the 14600 block of Darbydale Ave., was charged with assault and battery, attempted abduction, and hit and run.  Police said that Skinner and a 26-year-old Woodbridge woman were involved in an argument in front of a residence around 11:44 p.m. on the 3600 block of Felmore Ct. on Sept. 8. Skinner allegedly assaulted the woman and tried to force her to get in the back seat of a vehicle. A friend of the woman helped her get free, police said.  Skinner then got into his vehicle and struck the victim's vehicle, police said. Dale City Man Wanted For Attempted Abduction, Assault and Battery

A 26-year-old woman said suspect tried to force her into back seat of a car.

Woodbridge resident Brandon Skinner, of Darbydale Avenue, is wanted for attempted abduction and a hit and run, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. Police initially responded to Felmore Court at 11:44 p.m. Sept. 8 for a domestic disbute. Woodbridge Man Charged With DUI, Hit and Run

Woodbridge resident Gael Melendez Marroquin, 18, was arrested and charged Sept. 8 for driving under the influence, eluding police, a hit and run and driving without an operator's license, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  Early in the morning of Sept. 8, a PWC police officer tried to stop a car near Old Bridge Road and Rolling Brook Drive. I see this type of driving often in Woodbridge while working the Midnight shift as a utility maintenance worker. Last month I reported to police a hit and run by a '90s Mustang that made a fast left at a intersection and entered the wrong side of the median side swiping a BMW. I am considering mounting recording cameras in my truck while working at night.   more ›
