Originally from Montreal, Canada, Stephanie Dupal-Demartin has lived and worked in three different countries.  After completing a master's degree from James Madison University, she taught British literature and Italian at JMU before relocating to Northern Virginia with her husband and children.  A professed lover of all things used and old, she can be found scouring yard sales on early Saturday mornings.  She also enjoys running, reading, writing, and volunteering for local organizations.  Now that Lost is over and Arrested Development long gone, she has given up television in favor of watching terrible romantic comedies and slow-paced foreign dramas of arguable taste.  Steph and her family believe themselves to be true Virginians although only one of them was actually born in this country.
