Lake Ridge Burger King to Reopen by May
Owner and operator Ron Devine said they're in the final stages of setting up.
The Lake Ridge Burger King is set to reopen by May after being closed for several years.
"We're getting ready to get the place ready to go," owner and operator Ron Devine said. "Just getting the place cleaned up."
Though the exterior of the building will maintain its traditional appearance and layout, the interior will be remodeled.
"Inside, you're going to see the new tile and the modern dining room and the new kitchen equipment," Devine said. The reopened restaurant will feature new menus and digital menu boards. "It's just a matter of getting everything ordered a coordinated. A lot of equipment changes."
The restaurant will open in the springtime, with Devine estimating May as the month in which the work is completed.
"It's like a total rebuild," he said. "We're working on it."
