Lake Ridge Burger King Reopening Delayed to End of June

Owner Ron Devine said the restaurant needed some interior upgrades.

The planned of the has been delayed to the end of June.

"We had a slight delay," owner and operator Ron Devine said. "They made some upgrades to the interior. We had to change our decor."

The Burger King is now sporting its new roof, and the kitchen and the dining room should be finished by the first week of June, Devine said.

Devine said the dining room will feature a new Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, which allows diners to mix and match many different flavors with signature Coca-Cola products.

"You can come in and have Grape Sprite, Cherry Cola, anything," he said.

Devine apologized for the delay, but said "we're on our way and we look forward to being a great part of the Lake Ridge community and having a longterm relationship with them again."

Any idea what's going on with the chipotle that's supposed to open at the Glen?

We will definitely be trying the machine out when they open. Grape Sprite sounds interesting. When I was a kid, I always use to mix all the flavors anyhoo.
