Armed Robbery and Malicious Wounding at Lake Ridge Taco Bell

The victim, a 58-year-old Woodbridge man, told police that he was hit several times in the face with a handgun.

Early this morning, a 58-year-old man was in line at the Lake Ridge Taco Bell drive-thru when a man reportedly approached his driver's side window, brandished a handgun, and demanded the victim's money.

The victim told police that when he refused to give him his money, the man struck him in the face with the handgun, grabbed the victim's wallet, and ran away.

When police responded at 12:51 a.m. to the Taco Bell at 12721 Harbor Drive, they searched the area, but did not find the attacker.

The victim described his attacker as a "black male, between 18 and 25 years of age, 5’08”, 150lbs, thin build, black dreads," the police report read. He was last seen in a dark shirt, shoes and pants, and possibly a dark du-rag.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for injuries that were non-life threatening.
