Burglar Breaks Lock on Lake Ridge Door, Then Gives Up
It is not certain why the burglar did not enter the house.
On July 19, a homeowner in the 12600 block of Wimbley Lane in Lake Ridge reported an attempted burglary, according to police officer Jonathan Perok.
The homeowner said that someone had tried to break into the house between 8:30 p.m. on July 18 and 7 a.m. on July 19. Though that person managed to tamper with the keyhole and break the lock, he or she did not actually ever enter the house, and no items were missing.
