On Feb. 28, a homeowner in the 5400 block of Tomlinson Drive in Lake Ridge reported a burglary to police.
The homeowner said that someone came into the residence at about 6 a.m. The homeowner was first alerted to the presence of a burglar by the sound of a door slamming. Then the homeowner found that miscellaneous items, which were worth, in total, about $400, were missing.
Police responded at 4:35 p.m.
